We stayed for a night in Refugio de Reyes. True to its title, this gorgeous house is really a sight to behold. A lush botanical garden surrounds a beautiful pool and terrace. The apartments we stayed in are situated in the pool. The place is ideal in a brief walk into downtown; breakfast was introduced like a catered affair. I’d certainly stay again.

Their breakfast is just delicious and plentiful in tropical fruits. Their swimming pool is surrounded by a gorgeous Mango tree and exotic plants, in harmony with the design of the home that was constructed in the ’50s.

Our bed was king size, and we remained at the top area, with a beautiful view of the pool and the garden. I highly recommend this place to anybody who looks for a very, comfortable home, using a handy site in Holguín. Such a beautiful area and with lovely gardens also. The gardens were amazing with banana trees, cherry trees, and a lot of cacti.
